Today Eli was learning about the Crimean War. As I was reading about it, he stopped me and asked, “Mom, what year did this take place?”
I replied, “1853.”
“Was Grandma around during this war?”
Trying not to laugh, I said, “No.”
Eli thought for a little bit and then said, “So this happened a really long time ago.”
