Lambeau Field

On Friday we toured Lambeau Field and the Packer Hall of Fame with our local homeschool group.  What a fun day.

When I first learned about this field trip, I knew instantly it was something we needed to do.  Football is the #1 sport in this household.  And to be able to not only go to a game, but tour the stadium and see the “behind the scenes” things that go on is a definite bonus.

It was a lot of driving for one day, but we traveled with friends and the road is never too long or far when you’re traveling with friends.

This is a picture of the Packers locker room.  We were not allowed to go in it—no one is.  But it looks pretty cool from the picture. :)

We are walking down the tunnel where the Packers run through.  They even played some music and had the crowd cheering—woo hoo!   It was a neat experience.

This was a mini locker room for little ones like Logan.  He  loved dressing up in different Packer uniforms and a referee outfit.

I don’t think I need to say that my boys loved this experience.  It was definitely one of their favorite trips.  We ended the tour by eating lunch at Curley's Pub before beginning the long drive home.  What a great day.
