Sunday school lesson

Last Sunday after I picked up Logan from Sunday school, I asked him what he learned about.  Like most moms, this is something I frequently ask my boys.

Logan’s answer was simple and to the point:  “Mo-om, all we ever learn about is Jesus.”

Well, that’s good, I thought.

Then he woke up Monday morning and one of the first things he said to me was this:

“Mom, do you know what I learned about in Sunday school?”

Ah, now, I thought, I was going to get a cute little story about Jesus from my four year old.

“We learned that those little white bugs in your garbage in the summertime are really baby flies.”

Huh?

“Logan, do you mean  maggots?” I asked, trying hard not to laugh.

“Yep, Mom, they’re magnets.”
