At Eagleville school every Friday they have what's called book buddy time. The 4th graders are paired up with a 1st grader and they read books together. Either the 4th grader reads to the 1st grader or vice versa.
Isaac's book buddy is Jack. Jack is so smart he says he should be in 6th grade. A couple Fridays ago Isaac was telling me about book buddy time. He said, "Mom, I don't like book buddy time." I said, "Why not?"
He said, "Because I have Jack and guess what book he had me read to him? The dictionary!"
I couldn't help but laugh. Poor Isaac.
