Not fair!

Eli: Mom, can I have some chocolate milk now?

Mom: You didn't eat your asparagus. You need to eat that first.

Eli: First you get me chocolate milk and then I'll eat my asparagus.

Mom: No, first you eat your asparagus and then I'll get you chocolate milk.

Eli: What! It's always your way first! Why?

Mom: That's because I'm the MOM.

Eli: But that's not being fair to me! You need to be fair!

(Mom then holding in her chuckles.....I hated this being said to me when I was younger, but there's certainly times when it has to be said.)
